We are partnering with a leading, well-established accountancy practice seeking a capable Client Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant—qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience—who enjoys managing client relationships and delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a varied portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted adviser.
Oversee and review the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax returns.
Provide clear, proactive advice on accounting, compliance, and business matters.
Supervise, train, and review the work of junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
Collaborate with partners to identify opportunities for portfolio growth and service improvement.
Ensure work is completed accurately, on time, and in line with regulatory standards.
Liaise with HMRC and other external bodies as required.
Contribute to internal process improvements and the efficient running of client services.
About You
A background in accountancy practice with experience managing your own portfolio of clients.
Qualified, part-qualified (ACCA/ACA/AAT), or qualified by experience.
Sound technical knowledge across accounting and tax compliance.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Commercially aware, organised, and confident managing competing deadlines.
A collaborative and supportive team player with a focus on client satisfaction.
