About the Opportunity: Business Development Executive Position in Hemel Hempstead
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key part in our client acquisition strategy. Your focus will be on cold calling, building rapport, and identifying business opportunities with decision-makers across a range of industries.
Main Responsibilities – Cold Calling & New Business Sales
- Initiating outbound business-to-business calls to prospective clients within identified markets
- Developing and nurturing new client relationships from first contact to close
- Qualifying leads and understanding client needs to match with company solutions
- Booking and scheduling appointments for senior consultants and sales managers
- Maintaining accurate records in our CRM and updating notes after each interaction
- Consistently meeting and exceeding call activity and conversion KPIs
- Gathering market intelligence and feedback for continuous improvement
What We're Searching For: Essential Skills & Experience for Cold Calling Success
- Previous experience in a telephone-based sales or new business development environment
- Strong communication skills – confident, clear, and persuasive over the phone
- Target-driven with a resilient mindset and positive attitude to rejection
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to achieve personal and team goals
- Comfortable using MS Office and CRM systems
