We are working in partnership with a well-regarded accountancy practice in Watford to recruit a Junior Portfolio Manager This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to grow into a more client-facing role with clear long-term progression.

Role Overview:
This position is ideal for someone who is ready to take ownership of a small portfolio of clients while receiving ongoing mentorship. You'll work closely with a Senior Portfolio Manager and have a defined pathway to progress into a Senior PM role within the next three years.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of small to medium-sized clients

Prepare statutory accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax computations

Assist with personal tax returns and general client queries

Liaise with HMRC and other external bodies

Build and maintain strong client relationships

Support and review work of junior team members when required

Candidate Requirements:

Part-qualified ACCA/ACA (or equivalent)

2–3 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice

Strong communication and organisational skills

Proficiency in software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and IRIS

Eagerness to learn and develop into a senior role
