Seeking a proactive Business Administrator for a growing waste management company in Harrow. Full-time role with flexible options. Fluent German required.
We are partnering with a growing waste management company based in Harrow, Northwest London, who are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Administrator to join their expanding team. This is a full-time position, but part-time hours or flexible working arrangements may be considered for the right candidate. The role is primarily office-based with some hybrid working options available.
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of logistics, ensuring the efficient flow of materials from suppliers to clients.
- Request quotations from shipping and transportation companies.
- Manage shipping-related inquiries via email and phone.
- Handle order processing and coordinate stock of materials and equipment.
- Prepare and manage customs paperwork and shipping documentation.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team.
- Issue accurate shipping instructions and coordinate freight, optimizing routing for cost efficiency.
- Assist with other office duties as required on an ad hoc basis.
Essential Requirements:
- Fluent in German.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Quick learner with the ability to think on their feet and use initiative.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing operational requirements.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proactive, team-oriented approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible mindset and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
